About us

Welcome to SportInvestor, the website that discusses sport and the value available in betting markets. Our aim is to facilitate intelligent discussion about sport and sports betting as well as to give pointers towards the Sport Investor approach to profit.

Whether you are interested in rugby or football, snooker or darts, cricket or NFL you will find something of interest here. There are opinion pieces on a wide range of sports, as well as articles discussing the betting value of upcoming events.

We want to stimulate discussion on a variety of sporting events, whilst also encouraging you to think about the different bets that can be made and the odds they offer.

Autumn and early Winter are big months for our young team with the NFL getting into full swing; the ICC Champions Trophy and the beginning (at last) of the Ashes; the Darts World Grand Prix in Dublin; and the start of another fascinating National Hunt season. Whether you would rather be tracking the fortunes of Phil Taylor in Ireland and Freddie Flintoff in Queensland, following the fortunes of Roy Keane in Sunderland, or debating the relative merits of the Chicago Bears and the Indianapolis Colts in the NFL, you can keep an eye on them all through our unique insight into the world of sport.

I hope you find our site interesting and useful, and we would welcome your thoughts on the comments thread after each article. Please also use the comments to discuss any upcoming events or sports that have not been featured on sportinvestor.

Big Wins In All Sports – A Great Start For Sport Investor

Sport Investor, since its launch a fortnight ago, has landed some major punts to leave followers in the clover.  Highlights have included:

  • 8/1 winning margin winner plus winning 6/1 half time/ full time bet in NFL week 5 along with 3 out of 3 individual match picks on Sunday;
  • Advising 8/1 Arc winner (24/1 on the French Pari Mutuel) three days before the race;
  • Hull advised to beat Bradford and reach the Rugby League Grand Final against St Helens;
  • Tiger Woods winning the WGC tournament by a street.

While we are a blog rather than a tipping site any sports followers would be advised to keep a careful eye on Sport Investor in the coming months.  Autumn and early Winter are big months for our team with the NFL getting into full swing; the ICC Champions Trophy and the beginning (at last) of the Ashes; the Darts World Grand Prix in Dublin; and the beginning of another fascinating National Hunt season.

Our aim is to facilitate intelligent discussion about sport and sports betting as well as to give pointers towards the Sport Investor approach to profit.  In both of these aims the first few weeks have been a great success.
